The iOpen Smart Tag Set is the secure choice for your dogs and cats. It features a large push button in the middle and is also ideal for human use.
The iOpen Smart Tag Set uses RFID technology to communicate between your pet's smart tags and the RFID transmitter to activate your collar operated dog door. It offers the highest security in preventing the chance of wild animals such as possums, raccoons, or your neighbors’ pets from activating your Autoslide smart system sliding doors. However, just like any automatic swipe card security entrances, it does not take into consideration that unwanted animals could be stalking closely behind your pet as they enter.
The Smart iOpen Tag Set is an add-on accessory to your existing Autoslide sliding patio door. This pack includes two (2) iOpen Smart Pet Tags and one (1) RFID technology transmitter (wired to the Autoslide drive unit). Simply synchronize the pet collar key sensor to your Autoslide unit and program the Pet Mode opening and viola! You now have an automatic sliding pet door system!
The Smart iOpen Tag sensor only needs to be mounted on one side of the door (same side where the Autoslide base unit is installed).
Clip the Smart iOpen Tag to your pet’s existing collar. When the Autoslide system is set on Pet Mode, door opens to the pet open width when a Smart Pet Tag is within the area of detection. The area of detection has three distance settings: 3 feet, 6 feet, and 10 feet. These can be changed using the button on the Smart iOpen Tag.
Only pets wearing the Smart iOpen Tag Set will be able to activate the sensor. For those with more than two pets, additional Smart iOpen Tags can be purchased separately.
Maximum Activation Distance: 10 feet
Minimum Activation Distance: 3 feet

Lots of false sensor activations

I've emailed and left a voicemail with the contact info I have and have gotten no reply. I'm very disappointed. I've been using autoslide sense 2013 and have invested plenty of $$$$ in upgrades.
I love them, I injured

I love them, I injured my knee and could not go up and down the stairs, worked perfectly for the dog to go in and out. I would highly recommend this product, also for parents aging in place.
